Itinerary

Pokhara - Nayapul - Tikhedhunga

Meet your guide in your hotel lobby. Then, we drive with a private vehicle to Nayapul, following the scenic winding highway the offers views of Pokhara valley and the Himalayan ranges to Nayapul. (Drive in total will take about 1.5 hours). We then start our trek towards Tikhedhunga. Following Modi River, we will walk past the forest of blooming rhododendron and cross a small stream. We will cross Birethanti after about half an hour of a trek and arrive at Tikhedhunga. Overnight in the guest house at Tikhedhunga.

Tikhedhunga - Ghorepani

Steep trek for about 2hrs will take us to Ulleri (2070m). We will cross the Magar village of Banthanti from where we can get spectacular views of Machhapuchhre Mountain (6997m), Hiunchuli Mountain (6441m) and Annapurna South Mountain (7219m). We will cross the small river and climb to Nangethanti. We will arrive at Ghorepani from where we can get soaring views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Annapurna I and other mountains. Will spend overnight in Ghorepani

Ghorepani - Poon Hill - Ghandruk

We will get up very early and reach the base of Poonhill. After about an hour of a climb, you will reach Poon hill viewpoint (3210 Meters). We will enjoy sunrise view over Dhaulagiri Mountain (8167m), Annapurna I Mountain (8091m), Annapurna II Mountain (7937m), Annapurna III Mountain (7855m), Annapurna IV Mountain (7525m), Annapurna South Mountain (729m), Nilgiri Mountain (6940m), Tukuche Mountain (6920m). After sunrise, we will return to the guest house in Ghorepani for an onward walk and then take the descending trail to Ghandruk Gurung village. Homestay in Ghandruk is a pleasant experience. Overnight in Ghandruk.
