<p>After passing through the immigration and customs formalities, our driver and professional guide will welcome you at Yangon International airport and transfer to the Hotel.</p> <p>In the afternoon, the excursion to starts with a visit to one of the world's most spectacular monuments, the Shwedagon Pagoda: its golden stupa is the 'heart' of Myanmar. The pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa is surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues.</p> <p>There are always many Myanmar people praying and making offerings at Shwedagon, and it's a fascinating place to spend time watching the world go by. Enjoy sunset and unforgettable experience an evening visit to Shwedagon Pagoda.</p> <p>(Note: If flights arrive at Yangon in late afternoon, we will visit to Shwedagon Pagoda in Day 6 or 7)</p>
<p>After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up at the hotel and start an enjoyable scenic journey by air-conditioned vehicle to Bagan (about 10 hour drive).</p> <p>On the way, you can stop at some nice places to have lunch or take photos and transfer to hotel.</p>
<p>In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, you will stroll through the marketplace of Nyaung U, and get a glimpse into the lifestyle of Burmese people.</p> <p>An all-day visit to this huge area - a day full of culture. But we will avoid hectic tourism and will show you the most beautiful temples and pagodas, leisurely but in detail.</p> <p>Shwezigon Pagoda: One of the oldest stupas in Bagan area built by the great two kings Anawrahta and Kyanzittha. The Stupa’s graceful bell shape became a prototype for virtually all later stupas over Myanmar. It is known as the site where the 37 pre-Buddhist nat were first officially endorsed Burma monarchy.</p> <p>Ananda Pahto: whose interior seems almost Gothic and is considered to be the most beautiful among all the temples of Bagan. Facing outward from the centre of the cube are four 9.5m standing Buddhas.</p> <p>Continue on, visit Gubyaukgyi Temple admiring the fine stuccowork,</p> <p>Nanpaya temple, built in the Mon style with intricate stone carvings, and said once to have been Manuha's residence.</p> <p>Htinlominlo Pahto: built by King Nantaungmya in 1218. Inside the 46m-high temple, there are four Buddhas on the lower and upper floors. Traces of old murals are also still visible.</p> <p>Lacquer ware: visit traditional manufacture of unique Bagan lacquer ware.</p> <p>Enjoy wonderful sunset around the temples and then transfer to the hotel.</p>

<p>After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a scenic journey by a private modern air-conditioned vehicle to Mandalay (about 4-hour drive).</p> <p>On the way, you can stop at some nice places to have lunch or take photos and transfer to hotel.</p> <p>Mandalay was briefly the Burmese capital in the second half of the 19th century. It is home to about one million people and remains the economic, cultural and religious heart of upper Myanmar.</p> <p>On the arrival at Mandalay, visit Mahamuni Buddha Image: housing the country´s holiest Buddha image, century-old and legendary Arakan Buddha, made of pure gold is 4m-high seated image cast in bronze, but over the years thousands of devout Buddhists have completely covered the figure in a 15cm-thick layer of gold leaf. Continue visit to Gold leave pounding place, marble and Bronze making places, and weaving silk cottage.</p> <p>Kyauktawgyi Pagoda: the Buddha image make of marble stone and walk through the pagoda prescient.</p> <p>Kuthodaw Pagoda: with its 729 marble slabs showing the entire Buddhist canon and commemorating the Fifth Buddhist World Council at the end of last century.</p> <p>Mandalay Hill: if you are still feeling fresh, you might climb up to the top of Mandalay Hill for a bird´s eye view (or take the elevator). Visit the temples and small pagodas of former ancient capital Amarapura (Sanskrit for “Beautiful town“).</p> <p>Enjoy sunset at the magnificent teak bridge of U Bein, which is over 200 years old. It is the longest teak bridge in the world and then return to the hotel for an evening at leisure.</p>
<p>Amarpura, Ava and Sagaing are all former capitals of the old kingdom of Myanmar.</p> <p>Our driver and professional guide will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and head to our first stop –Amarpura, the 18th-century capital where the country’s largest monastery is located; Maha Ghandayon.</p> <p>Cross the Ayeyarwaddy River and head for the picturesque Sagaing Hill. The area houses an incredible amount of pagodas and monasteries, all painted white. It is regarded as a religious centre in Myanmar and is home to over 3,000 monks and 100 meditation centres. End the day with a visit to another ancient capital, Ava, which was the capital of Myanmar before Amarpura.</p> <p>Board a horse carriage and ride to the wooden Bagaya Monastery and the remains of the Royal Palace.</p> <p>Return to Mandalay in the late afternoon.</p>

<p>After breakfast at the hotel, depending on your departure flight schedule, head to our first stop – Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda to see a huge reclining Buddha image and also the most well-known Buddhist temple in Bahan Township. The reclining Buddha is amazing and there are fantastic vantage points throughout the building that allow unique perspectives on the shapes and colors of his pigmentation and other qualities.</p> <p>Sightseeing Karawait Palace, Kandawgyi (Royal Lake), Sule pagoda in the middle of the city, Mahabandoola Park, the colonial courthouse and the city hall.</p> <p>If we still have enough time, we visit Bogyoke Aung San Market (formerly Scott’s market, closes on Monday and public holidays) and give you an opportunity to do some shopping with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts, and gems stores.</p> <p>Reflect on your experience in Myanmar and transfer to airport for international departure flight.</p>
