Your private transfer will be waiting at the arrival hall that takes you from KEF International Airport to your Hotel in Reykjavik. The transfer between Keflavík International Airport (KEF) and downtown Reykjavik takes approximately 45-50 minutes but since check in is usually at 2.pm it is ideal to use the time to take a little detour on the way for some geothermal sightseeing.

Explore Reykjavik

Today you can enjoy the city and enjoy some of the many great restaurants Reykjavik has to offer (do not miss the famous hot dog stand), see the sights, shop or just relax.  You can even relax like the locals do at one of many geothermal swimming pools in Reykjavik. There is also an option of going on a planned city walk that is run by donations

Golden Circle

Today you have the chance to see the famous Golden Circle. The Golden Circle allows you to visit some of Iceland’s most stunning sights, starting with the historical and geological wonder that is Thingvellir National Park, where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart at a rate of a few centimetres per year. There, you will also find the first parliament in the world.
